Born: 10.05.1974 Nickname: Jope About: Started playing piano at the tender age of 6 and then moved on to keyboards and finally switched to guitar at 11. First band was called MANITOU in 1985 which is actually quite funny because Markus currently plays in a band with the same exact name. First "real" band was CROWMOOR (1990-1993) which could be described as somewhat progressive Speed-Metal. Next in line was VITAL SIGNS (1993-1994) a really weird instrumental Progressive Metal band. In 1994 MALPRACTICE was formed. Next new band was TO/DIE/FOR (1999-2003) who recorded 3 albums for Spinefarm records and made two European tours and short stilts to Mexico and Russia.
